01Getting started
How Superschools works
A short guide for first-time users. Superschools helps you discover, compare and shortlist schools — the rest stays a clear conversation between you and the school.
Choose what you’re looking for
Start with school type: preschool, day school, boarding school, or school jobs. The right starting point makes everything else faster.
Search by location
Search by city, area, locality, or landmark — e.g. “preschools near your locality” or “CBSE schools near your area”.
Use filters to narrow choices
Filter by board, curriculum, fees, age group or grade, and facilities. Stay flexible — widen filters if results feel too narrow.
Read school profiles carefully
Each profile is structured for easy comparison: location, board, fees, facilities, photos and contact information all in one place.
Shortlist before enquiring
Save schools you like and aim for a shortlist of 3 to 5 that genuinely fit. Submitting fewer, better-targeted enquiries leads to clearer conversations.
Contact schools or request advisor help
Submit enquiries directly, or ask for a Superschools advisor callback if you’d like help thinking through your options first.
What we can — and can’t — do. Superschools helps you discover, compare, and shortlist schools. Final admission, seat availability, exact fees, documents, interviews, refunds, and admission decisions are controlled by the school. Always confirm final details directly with the school before paying fees or making admission decisions.

04Before you shortlist
Check these 10 things first
Use this checklist before submitting an enquiry or visiting a school. It helps you compare schools on practical fit instead of only reputation or popularity.
Distance & daily commute
Aim for under 30–45 minutes one-way, especially for younger children. Long commutes drain energy fast.
Board or curriculum
Match curriculum to your child’s temperament, mobility plans and long-term goals — not perceived prestige.
Annual fee & extra costs
Compare total annual cost: tuition + transport + meals + activities + uniforms + deposits.
Admission availability
Confirm seats are open for your child’s grade and section before investing time in visits.
Grade or age eligibility
Check the school’s exact age cut-offs and grade structure for your child’s year of birth.
Safety & transport
Look at entry, supervision, transport staff vetting, and the actual bus route your child would take.
Teacher-child ratio
Ask for the ratio in your child’s specific grade, not a school-wide average.
Facilities your child will use
Prioritise everyday facilities — classroom, toilets, library, sports ground — over showpiece infrastructure.
Reputation & parent reviews
Hear from current parents where possible. Reviews give you ground truth that brochures can’t.
How comfortable your child feels
Watch your child during the visit. A child who relaxes quickly is usually telling you something useful.
